Hi, I'm Mishell. Welcome to my Reading & Research blog. I will be using this blog as a platform to share my findings and progress while researching a topic within the realm of Information Systems for IS390 - Information Systems Reading & Research class. The end result of the research I will be doing will come in the form of an 8 - 10 page paper in which I will report my findings.
So far, I have not narrowed down a specific question that I will be focusing on, but there are several areas that I am interested in. My first area of interest would be digital forensics because I am interested in how computers are used in investigating and solving crimes. I am also interested in how how we view our privacy, and how much privacy we are willing to give up for the convenience of technology. And lastly, it is a little out of the realm of the last two topics I mentioned, but I am very interested in social media and the impact of social media. I am playing with some ideas to come up with an original topic to research that is not being done by my peers.
